Our Story

A trade house, built for the gap.

Neoteric Solution BD Ltd was founded by a team of professionals with deep, first-hand experience of both ends of the Bangladesh sourcing chain — the buyers in London, Worcester, Rotterdam and New York who want the goods, and the manufacturers and cooperatives in Dhaka, Rajshahi and the artisan villages who make them. We had watched too many promising relationships fail in the gap between the two.

The gap is real. Bangladesh produces some of the most attractively-priced and highest-quality goods in the world, but the country is not a frictionless place to do business in. Suppliers vary wildly in capacity, professionalism and reliability. Specifications get translated loosely. Lead times slip without warning. Payment structures are unfamiliar to Western finance teams. Foreign buyers without local presence routinely end up with the wrong product, the wrong quantity, or no product at all — and no realistic legal recourse.

So we built a house that closes the gap. We are Bangladesh-based for the supplier relationships, the audits, the quality control and the logistics — and where buyers prefer it, commercial agreements can be structured through our UK-registered sister company SIC, under English law, with UK-side trade-finance and payment intermediation. Bilingual through every conversation. We know Bangladesh inside out — and we know international buyer expectations just as well. The result is sourcing that actually arrives, to the specification agreed, on the timeline promised.
